Economy and markets
Money and shards
Money is used for payments, auctions, buy orders, server purchases, bounties and wagers. Shards purchase configured shard-shop items, tools and spawners. /bal shows both. /pay <player> <amount> transfers money when the recipient accepts payments.
The default balance is $1,000 and zero shards. The default online reward is one shard per ten counted online minutes. Legacy AFK, kill, premium passive rewards and interest are disabled by default. Administrators can change these rules in config.yml.
Auction house
Hold the stack to sell and run /ah sell 640 to list the whole held stack for $640. The amount is a total asking price, not a per-item price. /ah provides browsing, search, pagination, unit-price sorting and purchase confirmation. /ah cancel <id> cancels your own listing when it can be returned.
Listings can fill matching buy orders first. Higher-paying orders are processed before lower-paying orders. Anything left becomes an auction listing. The listing tax applies once to the original asking total, even if orders buy some or all of it immediately. The default regular tax is 2.5%; rank benefits can reduce it.
Buy orders
/orders create DIAMOND 64 150 requests 64 plain diamonds at up to $150 each. The maximum $9,600 is reserved at creation.
/orders hand 10 500 requests ten copies of the held sample at up to $500 each. Your sample stays in your inventory. This exact-item mode includes names, damage, enchantments, container contents and plugin item metadata. A differently configured spawner is a different item. Stack count is not part of the matching key.
Orders first buy eligible auction stock, cheapest first. If a listing is cheaper than your maximum, the unused price difference is refunded. A partial purchase reduces the seller's remaining quantity and asking price proportionally and gives the remainder a new listing ID. An old confirmation cannot buy the changed listing.
Use /orders deliver <id> to deliver matching inventory items. You cannot fill your own order. /orders claim <id> collects purchased items and closes/refunds the unfilled portion as applicable. When inventory space is limited, undelivered claim stock remains stored. See the order screen before claiming an order you still want filled.

Ordinary selling protects custom items. Exact selling has no fallback to the fixed server price. Shulker selling keeps the box, its metadata, unsupported items and custom contents. It does not recursively sell nested containers.
For ordinary items, better-paying orders are used before the base server price. If an item has no configured base price and no eligible order, it remains unsold. Sell multipliers affect server prices.
Quick Buy and server shop
/shop and /quickbuy browse live player listings. Held-item matching is exact. The confirmation identifies a specific listing and price, and fails if that offer is no longer available. It does not silently replace an offer with a more expensive one. Quick Buy is blocked in combat.
/servershop uses the fixed-price categories in shops.yml. /shards uses the configured shard catalog. No purchase here connects to real-money billing or automatically grants a web-store purchase.
Persistence limits
Duel stakes have a dedicated atomic escrow record. Other systems still span separate economy, market and Minecraft inventory saves. A normal restart has been tested for market claims; hard-kill recovery during every transaction stage has not been implemented or qualified. Follow Backup and recovery.
